DESCRIPTION OF MACHINE AND ITS OPERATION: The Guillotine
Shear with Pivoting Top Beam RAS 52.31 Has Been Developed and
Constructed for Cutting Steel and Non-Ferrous Metal Plates. The Design
of the Machine is Characterised by the Following Points: Front Operated
Backstop with Rapid Adjustment, Cutting Edge Visible from Above so that
there are no Parallax Faults When Cutting After Cracks, Disposal of
Scrap and Cut Material to the Front and Rear Via a Plate Diverter, No
Lubricating Points.
BLADE BEAM: During Cutting the Blade Beam Pivots about a
Fixed Pivot
Point. The Bearing
System of the Blade Beam Consist of Two Rolling Bearings with a Durable
Lubricant Filling (Maintenance Free). The Bowing is Incorporatated into
the Blade Support Surface by the Manufacturer. In this Way the Blades
are not Deformed by Tension or Pressure Bolts for Setting the Bowing.
The Advantage of this is Rapid and Simple Blade Replacement.
